Shivapuri Trek

This trek is an ideal trip for those who don’t want a long strenuous trek or only have time for a short trek. This is a fantastic hike from Kathmandu. Few people trek around Kathmandu valley. It offers a rich insight into the lives, history, culture and religion of its inhabitants. You will walk mostly shivapuri watershed forests and villages during your trekkingShivapuri Trek time. Shivapuri hill (2732m) is the highest point of this trekking. From the top of Shivapuri, you can see western mountain Manaslu, Boudha himal, Ganesh himal range, Langtang range, Dorjeelakpa, shisapangma and Gaurishankar. In short we can see more than 60 peaks from here. And other mountains can be seen and another gain of this trekking is to reach Nagarkot. Nagarkot offers an enjoyable experience that has many different options to enjoy the magic of mountains. The village of Nagarkot is on the edge of the valley and offers excellent views of the mountains as well as Kathmandu valley, terrace, river and beautiful scenery green hill

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
Meet with our representative at the airport. Drive to hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu.(1310m/4310ft)
Half day visit of Kathmandu city and Swayambhunath. PM: Free, preparation for the trekking. O/N hotel.
Day03:Kathmandu–Shivapuri (2732m/8962ft) 06:00hrs.
After breakfast  driver to Budhanilakantha (Trekking Starting point) and trek to Shivapuri. Shivapuri is very good for walking through the forest and along the ridge with spectacular  views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang and Jugal Himal.  Camp at 2732 m SHIVAPURI  which offers outstanding views of the Himalaya from the campsite on the flat, grassy Summit. O/N in camping in Shivapuri.

Day 04: Shivapuri - Chisapani (2215m/7268ft) 06:00hrs.
Walk up early in the morning to see the sunrise over the white-mountains. Breakfast served about 7:00 AM. After breakfast, we start our treks to  Chisopani (2194m). It take 4 hours. Wlk along the ridge between the Shivapuri watershed forest and  the panoramic attraction of the Himalaya and overnight camping in Chisopani.

Day 05: Chisapani -Nagarkot (2100m/6870ft) 07:00hrs.
Walk between the village and forest, continue our journey to Nagarkot 2300m above the sea-level. This spot provides an excellent view of the sunset and Mount Everest can be seen on a clear day. O/N camping in Nagarkot.

Day 06: Nagarkot- Kathamandu (1310m/4298ft) 04:00hrs.
We'll awake early to watch the spectacular dawn, the first rays of the sun firing the peaks a hellist red slowly lighting up the Himalayas from Kanchenjunga and Everest in the far East of Annapurna and Dhawalagiri in the West. Travel to Dhulikhel. Afternoon, we'll drive back to Kathmandu. O/N in Kathmandu

Day 07: Departure transfer to onward destination.
